The store became a guide

Same curiosity. Better job for it.

Be Gone Goods began as a small shop for people tired of researching every bottle, balm, and cleaning tablet. The old promise was simple: all of the goods, none of the bad.

What changed

Owning inventory made the catalog narrow. Becoming a guide lets us compare the same products across current sellers, tell you when an old formulation disappeared, and put the research beside the recommendation instead of behind it.

We restored all 39 products we could verify from the original store records, kept the four shopping categories, and recovered the old Phthalate Wiki’s most useful pattern: a finding, a plain-English summary, context, practical actions, and the original source.

What stayed

The point is still to spare people unnecessary guesswork. Now the site can also say “the evidence is mixed,” “this was a mouse study,” “this price excludes shipping,” or “the exact scent appears retired.” That honesty is part of the product.

Our independence

We do not manufacture the products listed here and no brand can buy a favorable research interpretation. Some outbound links may become affiliate links and earn a commission at no added cost to you; that never changes the displayed order, which is based on the item-price data shown.
